It is widely acknowledged that stress is a killer and sadly many of us do not even know when we are stressed, so accustomed are we to feeling agitated and unwell. There is so much negative news out there in the media that filters through to our sub-conscious even when we don’t realise it. Consequently many of us are living in a state of anxiety, a state which can lead to many poor health factors. Fortunately there are many nervine herbs which can help reduce anxiety, sleeplessness, depression, nervous tics, irritability and other symptoms of stress. These herbs are very safe to use and do not cause drowsiness or lead to dependency. They offer the body and mind support during difficult times and can also be used to make a fresh start in life where we put personal well-being at the top of our list of things to do. During this workshop, relaxation techniques and methods to de-stress will also be looked at and we will also consider as well how we can assist children and young people with stress.
